Our Kids

Launched by Resolve Philly, Our Kids publishes and promotes frequent, solutions-oriented coverage of the child welfare system. It is the first project of Margins to Mainstream. You can find a full history and future vision for Our Kids here.

The Opportunity: By supporting Margins to Mainstream, you can help better the lives of children and families.

Journalism: The Our Kids project produces long-form, solutions-oriented investigative journalism on child and family welfare. In this new iteration, I'll probe problems and solutions in family court. I'll also fund solutions-based reporting at general interest news organizations.

Teaching: In collaboration with organizations including the Child Welfare League of America, I'll conduct outreach to media organizations nationwide to encourage more frequent, inclusive and solutions oriented coverage of child welfare.
